Salt Lake County Local CEMP Tabletop Exercise

Salt Lake County Emergency Management, coordinated with Hagerty Consulting, is hosting the Salt Lake County local CEMP Tabletop exercise on November 10th, 2022, from 8:00 – 1500. Salt Lake County Emergency Management would like to invite you to attend and share the registration information with others you feel would benefit within your jurisdiction. Municipal CEMP TTX The exercise aims to validate coordination and response capabilities as identified in the local Comprehensive Emergency Management Plans and Annexes, identifying strengths and weaknesses to enhance the overall emergency response posture and collective decision-making process for local emergency response, stakeholders/partners. Throughout the exercise, emergency response stakeholders will exercise essential capabilities such as activating their local jurisdiction's Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan, utilizing WebEOC, providing Points of Distribution PODs), sheltering procedures, and coordinating limited debris management. The tabletop exercise is designed for Local Emergency Response Stakeholders and Partners who establish or implement policy; personnel who hold safety and emergency planning or response roles within your local jurisdictions; and department staff who serve as emergency response members within your jurisdiction. Emergency planning involves a whole-community approach; therefore, we request that if you cannot attend, please designate a person in your department who can represent you.
